Your questions answered
Is this service suitable for complex tax returns?
- foundations or associations
- mixed companies
- domiciliary companies
- finance branches
- complex inter-cantonal tax allocation
- certain tax rulings
How is this service different from the traditional offerings?
This online service is automated as far as possible. A smart questionnaire will guide you to provide the necessary information and documentation. The tax return will only be prepared according to the information you submitted. We will not consider other information that PwC might have about your tax situation. The tax return will be prepared in an EU-country and reviewed in Switzerland. The traditional tax advice is focused primarily on personal interactions between you and your tax specialist.
How long does it take before I get my tax return back?
We aim to get your tax return back to you within ten working days following receipt of your records. The speed at which we can process your tax return depends mainly on whether you submit all of the records we need and whether we have questions.
Can I discuss my taxes with you in person?
The aim of our online service is to help you save as much time as possible, which includes time spent with your tax advisor. That's why our service is conducted primarily on a digital basis. We are of course available to you to discuss your personal tax issues, which is a service that we charge for at our normal rates.
Can I use this service if PwC is our statutory auditor?
As a rule, yes. We would be pleased to check whether we are permitted to provide you with this service while being your statutory auditor. If not, we will of course reimburse you with any costs you have already paid. It may take us a little longer to draw up your tax return if we have to clarify this point.
How do I pay for this service?
You can pay against receipt of the invoice. You will find a list of all the costs on our online platform.
Are my documents and data safe?
As the protection of your data is of paramount priority we restrict access to client-related data to those employees and contractors who need to access it for processing purposes. These employees are committed to the strictest confidentiality. Our online platform complies with current security standards and is subject to regular data security checks. Your data will be stored on a server domiciled in Switzerland. Access by PwC employees abroad is via an encrypted connection.
